How to prepare soaked raisins to eat?
Though preparing soaked raisins is not rocket science, let’s see some of the details now. What you will need is of course, raisins, water and a bowl.
Thoroughly wash your raisins to remove any surface dirt or debris. Usually dried fruits will have some dirt on their surface, so it is better to make sure you clean them properly before eating.
Once cleaned, add water to the raisins in a bowl. The ratio should be 1:3. For instance, if you take 1/4 cup of raisins, then you should add 3/4 cups of water to the bowl. Cover your raisins with water and let them sit at room temperature for at least 8 hours, or ideally overnight. Strain the raisins using a fine-mesh sieve.
Now, you could drink the water. Or discard it. But drinking it is what I would recommend. Though you could drink the raisin-soaked water anytime during the day, it would be much more beneficial to drink it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
On the other hand, if you are forgetful (like me ;)), you could do this on an urgent basis too. Take the required amount of water and bring it close to boil. Now, remove the water from heat and soak the raisins after rinsing them.
Now, in this method, you only need to soak them up for around 30 minutes.
