Ingredients for bread chilli recipe
Bread slices – 6-8
Butter – 1 Tablespoon
Oil – 2 Tablespoons
Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 tablespoon
Onion – 1 Small sized
Tomato – 1 small sized
Capsicum – 2 tablespoons, chopped
Salt – 1/2 tablespoon
Chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala / Chicken masala – 1/2 tablespoon
Tomato sauce or Ketchup – 3 teaspoons
Water – 1 tablespoon
Bread chilli recipe
Cut the bread slices into cubes. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a pan, and fry the bread cubes until golden brown and crispy. Set aside.
Chop onion, tomato and capsicum.
Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan and fry ginger garlic paste in it.
Add in the onion and fry till translucent.
Add the tomato and add salt. Fry till it turns mushy.
Add in the capsicum and fry for a minute. Add chilli powder and saute till the raw smell goes off.
Now add the chicken masala or garam masala and fry till the oil separates.
Add the tomato sauce or ketchup and saute briefly. Add one tablespoon water and mix well.
Now add the bread cubes and mix well so that the bread gets coated nicely with the chilli masala.
Your bread chilli is ready. Serve warm with a cup of tea or coffee!
