In today’s recipe we are going to see how to make paneer pizza at home. You don’t need oven to make this pizza.
You can make it using a pressure cooker. And you don’t need yeast as well.

Ingredients for Paneer Pizza
For Pizza dough:
Maida / White flour – 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons
Baking soda – 1/2 teaspoon
Salt – 1/4 teaspoon
Sugar – 1/2 tablespoon
Yoghurt / Curd – 2 1/2 tablespoons
Ghee – 2 teaspoons
Water – 1 tablespoon
Oil – 1 tablespoon
Some dry flour to adjust the dough
For the pizza sauce
Water – 1/2 cup
Onion – 1 Small sized
Tomato – 1 small sized
Ginger – 1/2 inch piece
Garlic – 3-4 cloves
Oil – 1 tablespoon
Chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Sugar – 1/2 tablespoon
Tomato ketchup / Sauce – 3 tablespoons
For Paneer topping
Yoghurt / Curd – 2 tablespoons
Chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
Garam masala / Chicken masala – 1/2 tablespoon
Juice of half lemon
Oil – 1 tablespoon
Besan – 2 tablespoon
Ginger garlic paste – 1 1/2 tablespoon
Salt – 1/4 teaspoon
Paneer – 200 gms
For pizza topping
Vegetables of your choice – onion, capsicum, olives, corn, etc.
Cheese – your choice, min 1/2 cup – can add more too.
No Oven, No Yeast Paneer Pizza recipe
Prepare the dough:
Take 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons of maida and add in the dry ingredients. Give a good mix with a spoon.
Then add curd and start kneading. Knead for about 10 mins by stretching and twisting.
Once the dough takes shape add in the oil and keep kneading for another 10 mins.
Set aside for at least an hour. In this case I let the dough sit for 2 hours.
Prepare the red sauce:
In a pan add all the ingredients under Pizza sauce, cover and cook for 5 mins in SIM.
Once cooled, REMOVE the ginger piece and grind the rest to a fine paste.
Add 1 tablespoon oil in a pan and once it is hot, add little of the ground paste.
Add chilli powder and stir until it changes color. Now add the rest of the ground paste and stir well.
Add sugar and stir well. Once the sauce is half done and has thickened, add in the tomato ketchup/sauce.
Cook until the sauce-like consistency is reached.
For Paneer topping
Take a mixing bowl and add in all the ingredients given above except Paneer.
Mix well. Add in the Paneer, mix well and marinate for about 10 mins.
Now, heat a flat pan or tawa, and spread the paneer over the pan. Turn them with fork or spoon and cook them in SIM until the masala gets cooked a bit.
Remove and set aside.
Prepare the Pizza
After letting the kneaded dough rest for at least an hour, take it and knead for about a minute again.
Take a plate or pizza pan and spread some corn flour.
Now put the dough on top of it and spread it as shown in the video.
Turn the pizza to the other side and keep spreading till you get the desired round shape.
Now, spread the red sauce over the pizza. Then spread the cheese generously and evenly over the pizza.
Now, place the paneer cubes over the pizza. Add vegetables of your choice.
In a pressure cooker pan, add 1 cup water. Place a vessel over water. Place the pizza plate/pan over the vessel.
Cover the cooker with lid and cook in SIM for 40 minutes without gasket and weight.
After 40 minutes, remove pizza pan from the cooker, set aside for 1 minute and enjoy!
